Let’s dive into her journey at Rosclar and get her insights into the world of payroll management!
When and how did you start working at ROSCLAR?
I started working at Rosclar in April 2016 – 9 years ago now!
I met a colleague at another job. We met again after some time, and he told me how happy he was at Rosclar, especially about the great work environment in the company. A year later, he told me there was an open position, and they were looking for staff. I sent my CV, and a few months later, I started as a payroll technician.
What does it mean to be a Payroll Manager? / What is your area of expertise?
Managing the team’s client portfolio on a global level, assessing and considering each client’s needs.
In our job, we can’t say there is a specific specialty, because payroll calculation is not just about including salaries. It also requires considering aspects of labor law, tax regulations, and social security that impact payroll calculations. That’s why we must always stay up to date on these topics to provide clients with the best possible service.
What is a typical day like for you at ROSCLAR?
Every day is different because each client has different situations and needs to address. But the first thing I do is review the monthly work schedule to manage the daily workload as efficiently as possible.
We work with very tight deadlines, so once I review the schedule, I evaluate which tasks are the most urgent to handle them in advance and deliver our work on time without delays.
What are the biggest challenges of your profession? Can you share a success story?
The biggest challenge is continuously training in different areas that affect payroll management to stay updated on new legislation and implement it within the short time frames required.
What are the latest trends in your field? Will Rosclar incorporate them?
It is impossible to list all the trends because this field is constantly changing due to the new regulations published daily that must be applied to our work. However, Rosclar is always up to date with the latest developments to offer the best payroll management to clients.
Through our monthly newsletter, clients receive all updates on tax and labor matters so they can clarify any doubts they may have.
What do you value most about working at a company like ROSCLAR?
I would highlight the personal and human touch that has remained despite the company’s significant growth.
I enjoy working at Rosclar because it is a company in constant evolution, investing in multiple projects and internal programs to improve and streamline internal management.
Rosclar anticipates client needs and introduces improvements in all departments, helping the company grow and stay at the forefront of developments in our field.
